From corporate life to creating something of my own.

I never imagined that one day I would leave my corporate career behind to build a dessert brand. But sometimes, the most beautiful chapters of our lives begin when we choose a completely different path.

For years, I invested in my education and professional development, studying Finance and Business, gaining qualifications in Human Resources, and building a successful career in senior management within major insurance companies.

Then, in 2024, I became a mother to twin boys, and everything changed.

Motherhood gave me a new perspective on life. I began questioning what success really meant to me and realised that I wanted to build something that was truly my own, something I could grow with passion, purpose and pride.

So, I made one of the biggest decisions of my life. I stepped away from my corporate career and started again.

In March 2026, Heja’s Kitchen began in my home kitchen with a family-inspired recipe and a dream much bigger than the space I was working in.

What started at home soon moved into a rented commercial kitchen. Today, Heja’s Kitchen has grown into its own dedicated production facility, complete with a professional commercial kitchen, showroom and office.

And we’re still growing.

At Heja’s Kitchen, we’re bringing a fresh perspective to traditional milk-based desserts. Combining beautiful flavours, light and creamy textures, and our signature sealed-can presentation, we’re introducing Perth to a different way of enjoying desserts.

But my dream has never been just about making delicious desserts.

From day one, I wanted Heja’s Kitchen to become a recognised and trusted dessert brand across Western Australia.

Today, we’re turning that vision into reality, one customer, one partnership and one milestone at a time.

Behind every product is not just a recipe, but a story of determination, family, hard work and believing that it’s never too late to create a new beginning.
